Paul Simmons

Paul has been with DBSA California since its founding as the California GO project leadership of Rusty Selix, Mental Health hero and co-author of Proposition 63, the Mental Health Services Act. Together, they staffed Mental Health America of California, the California Council of Community Behavioral Health, the California Youth Empowerment Network, and the Racial and Ethnic Mental Health Disparities Coalition.
Paul has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1991. Paul has been a working musician for more than 40 years and received his Bachelor’ Degree at the University of Delaware and his Masters at Sacramento State University.
Leslie Sullivan
Grant Administrator
Leslie Sullivan opens the lines of communication between clients, customers, and businesses to get projects done. With over 32 years in the public sector, Leslie has experience in project and grant management, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration.
Leslie has managed grant projects for the California Highway Patrol, and the Department of Food and Agriculture. Leslie has supported service to the citizens of California for the past 32 years and continues her pursuit with the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance California.
