Become a Facilitator
DBSA-California’s support groups are led by peers regularly remotely that were once attending groups themselves. They understand firsthand the recovery process, coping skills, and empathy required to make a difference in people’s lives.
Facilitators have been there, they are here to help! Each support group focuses on holistic approaches to equip attendees with tools to manage their mood disorders.
The peer groups are led by facilitators who are qualified to host these events, who are focused on creating a safe space where attendees can share their stories. We’ve learned that it is easier to heal and recover when we don’t do it alone. Together, we can make a greater impact on each other’s recovery process.
If you’re interested in becoming a facilitator, please fill out the application below. Training is provided.
