Details: This 3 hour ZOOM workshop training is open to California and non California residents from throughout the US. This is for those who wish to become support group facilitators, experienced facilitators and for beginning facilitators. If you attend a DBSA support group and would like to learn to facilitate, this is the place for you. If you’re already facilitating, it’s a great way to learn and share your expertise.
Review the basics, guidelines, and structure of a DBSA support group. We also discuss challenges that facilitators may encounter in performing group facilitation for depression and bipolar peer support groups.
Facilitating DBSA Support groups is also great experience and can provide excellent skills to improve your communication and help guide group discussion. It’s also provides experience on your road to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist!
When you complete registration you will receive a ZOOM login for the meeting.
